PlayStation held its second “State of Play” livestream, showing off new and upcoming games, including
Monster Hunter World‘s next expansion, titled Iceborne, releases on Sept. 6. The content releases on PS4 on Xbox simultaneously, with a PC release sometime this winter
MediEvil, a full remake of the cult-classic PS1 game is releasing on Oct. 25
Predator: Hunting Grounds is an asynchronous multiplayer game based in the Predator film franchise sometime in 2020. The game is being developed by IllFonic, developers of the 2017 Friday the 13th game
The last trailer shown off came as a surprise, as a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake was released.
The teaser promises new info in June, presumably during E3

John Wick Hex, a game based on the popular Keanu Reeves action series, has been announced. The game is in development by Bithell Games (Volume, Thomas Was Alone), and is a strategic shooter similar to the X-COM series
Nintendo announced its plans for E3 this year, including a Nintendo Direct on June 11 at 9am PT/12 pm ET, focused on games releasing this year (via Nintendo)
Tetris 99 has released its first DLC pack, titled the “Big Block DLC”. The DLC comes packed with new offline modes against CPU as well as the traditional Marathon mode at $9.99 (via Polygon)

Overwatch‘s new escort map, Havana, is now available for everyone to play on PC and PS4. The new map releases on Xbox One at a later date

After several leaks that broke the news, Ubisoft revealed Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the next iteration of its popular Ghost Recon franchise.
The game releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on Oct. 4 and stars actor Jon Bernthal (The Punisher, The Walking Dead) as its villain
Sony released its full-length feature doc on the the development of 2018’s God of War
In movie news, a new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home was released

The first trailer for HBO’s Watchmen series released. The series promises to expand the world and scope of the comics, seemingly acting as a followup

The first trailer for IT: Chapter Two was released. The film is a sequel to 2017’s IT, based on the classic Steven king novel and follows the now adult members of the Loser’s Club
