Nintendo held another Pokémon Direct for Pokémon Sword and Shield on June 5
The 15-minute video was revealed much of what to expect in the newest iteration of the franchise; including larger, open areas to travel, raid battles, new mechanics, and obviously new Pokémon to battle and trade
The game will release worldwide on Nintendo Switch Nov. 15, 2019
Google Stadia will launch its Founder’s Edition this November in 14 countries
The package includes a Chromecast Ultra , controller, 3-month subscription to the Stadia Pro service, and a voucher to gift a subscription to a friend
The Founder’s Edition also comes with free access to Destiny 2 and its expansions
Those with the Founder’s Pack will be able to run games at 4K resolution, 60FPS with HDR support
As part of Google’s Stadia focused stream, the long awaited Baldur’s Gate 3 was revealed
As was teased, the game is being developed by Larian Studios, creators of the Divinity: Original Sin RPG series
Bungie held a stream event on June 7, detailing new details regarding the future of Destiny 2, the first of which being a new expansion, Shadowkeep, a new expansion coming Sept. 19
During their livestream, Bungie also announced cross save for all platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will also launch on Steam on Sep. 17
Bungie will be releasing a free version titled First Light that will also release on Sep. 17 with all content from the first year of Destiny 2

After an initial leak that was confirmed by Kotaku, Watch Dogs Legion, the third game in the action-hacker series was formally revealed by Ubisoft on Twitter
The game will see a full reveal during Ubisoft’s E3 event (via Kotaku)
Rayman Origins will be available for free on UPlay to those who watch speedrunner Glackum’s world record attempt of Rayman 2 on Twitch (via Polygon)
Shenmue 3 has been delayed to Nov. 19 (via director Yu Suzuki on Kickstarter)
The long-awaited sequel was originally to launch on August 27
A new Yooka-Laylee game has been anounced by developer Playtonic, titled Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair
The 2.5D platformer is set to release sometime this year
A remake of Destroy All Humans! has been revealed, developed by Black Forest games and published by THQ Nordic
The game is set to release some in 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One
THQ Nordic also announced another remake, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch
The game is a remaster of the 3D platformer originally released on PS2, GameCube, and Xbox in 2003
PlayStation’s annual Days of Play sale is now running until June 17 (via PlayStation Blog)
In movie/game news, Sony announced that an Uncharted movie will release in 2020 starring Spider-Man actor Tom Holland as a younger Nathan Drake (via The Hollywood Reporter)
The first full trailer for the third and final season of Netflix’s Jessica Jones premiered. The new season begins on June 14
The first trailer for Ad Astra, a new film from director James Gray (The Lost City of Z, The Immigrant) was released
For All Mankind, a new sci-fi series coming to Apple TV+ from producer Ron Moore (Battlestar Galactica), was revealed during WWDC
The series premieres this fall
The first trailer for Ford v Ferrari was released. The film stars actors Matt Damon and Christian Bale, and is director by James Mangold (Logan, Walk the Line)
A sneak peek at Disney’s Lion King remake released this week, showcasing Beyonce as Nayla, as well as Billy Eichner and Seth Rogan’s Timon and Pumbaa
