Silent Hills Teaser
New Silent Hill Game Teased Coming from Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro

A new game in the Silent Hill series was teased today, after a interactive teaser appeared on the PSN Store after a teaser from Sony at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.

After solving the puzzles in the game, user “SoapyWarPig” discovered a trailer while streaming on Twitch. The end of the demo concluding with cryptic dialogue, as well as a trailer of a lone character wandering an abandoned town with a flashlight. The names of Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro faded in during the scene, and the face of Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus is shown up close. A title card Silent Hills fades in at the end to the classic series theme from Akira Yamaoka, along with names from the development team, the Kojima Productions logo, and the Fox Engine logo.

The last game in the Silent Hill series was Silent Hill: Downpour in 2012, which saw mediocre to poor review scores. It will be interesting to say the least what Kojima Productions and famed director Guillermo del Toro has in store.

The stream where the reveal was first found can be seen below (Skip to about 1 hour 16 minutes to get to the teaser)
