Revealed two days earlier than previously announced, Activision and Sledgehammer Games have unveiled Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The reveal trailer features gameplay from the campaign, which seems to take place in the near future similar to Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Exosketons, hoverbikes, mechsuits, and near-future weapons highlight the video, as well as a focus on private military warfare in the year 2054.
The trailer also features the voice and likeness of actor Kevin Spacey, who is set to star as the antagonist in this iteration; the owner of a PMC set on rebelling against the United States. This is Sledgehammer Games first solo outing in the Call of Duty series, after having first helped Infinity Ward with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in 2011.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare debuts for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on November 4, 2014.
