A new trailer for the Kickstarter the funded Hyper Light Drifter was released over this past weekend, and showcases the incredible visuals and music. The game’s developer, Heart Machine, mix of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Diablo. It sports a mixture of 8-bit and 16-bit visuals, as well as fantastic looking animation and attention to detail. The game’s music is being scored by FEZ composer Rich ‘Disasterpeace’ Vreeland, as well as several other contributors.
Machine Heart secured $645,158 for its project last year, well over its goal of $27,000. Along with PlayStation 4 and PSVita, the game is scheduled to release for Windows, OS X, WiiU, and Ouya.
Hyper Light Drifter is slated to release towards the end of 2014.
