Amazon has acquired Irving, California-based studio Double Helix Games. The studio is best known recently for its work on the Xbox One Killer Instinct reboot released as a launch title last year, as well as the upcoming Strider published by Capcom coming later this month.
Microsoft Studios is reportedly set to announce a new partner in developing content for Killer Instinct on Xbox One.
