Capcom has announced that a new, updated version of the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 4 is heading to the PC late next month. The Steam page currently has the game available to pre-purchase for $19.99, and comes with a “60+ track digital music album and a 80+ page digital archive.” The update has been optimized to run at 60 FPS, and comes with Steam support such as achievements, Steam Cloud, and controller support. Resident Evil 4 was originally released by Capcom on the Nintendo GameCube and PS2 in 2005, and was later released digitally as an updated port called Resident Evil 4 HD on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network in 2011.
