Here are some of the week’s highlights in gaming, movies, and more:

  • AGDQ 2020 wrapped up last Sunday, and ended up raising $3.13 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation (via Polygon)
  • Rockstar has pulled the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV due to technical issues related to the shutdown of Games for Windows Live in 2014 (via Polygon)
  • Teamfight Tactics, the League of Legends autobattler, will come to mobile device in mid-March
  • Sony will be skipping E3 in 2020, the second year in a row the company has pulled from the show (via Gamesindustry.biz)
  • Universal Studios Japan will open its “Super Nintendo World” theme park this summer according to a recently released trailer
  • In a new blog post from the development team, it was announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake has been delayed until April 10 (via Square Enix)
  • The team at Crystal Dynamics also announced that Marvel’s Avengers has been delayed until later thus Fall on Sept. 4
  • A new trailer for the Resident Evil 3 remake was released , showing off more of what can be expected from the game’s constantly pursuing antagonist, Nemesis
    • The game releases on April 3
  • Bethesda/id released a new ultra-violent trailer for Doom Eternal, releasing on March 20
  • A leak on a Taiwenese ratings board possibly revealed that The Bioshock Collection, a collection featuring the original Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite, may be heading to Nintendo Switch sometime this year (via Polygon)
  • PlayStation released a wrap-up infographic for all players to see how much time they spent playing PS4 games in 2019 (via PlayStation)
  • A new trailer for PUBG‘s Season 6 showed off the game’s newest smaller map, Karakin
  • A trailer for Rainbow Six Siege‘s new map, Stadium, as well as a new Battle Pass in anticipation of The Six Invitational, the gameโ€™s most vaunted esports tournament
  • The fifth and final fighter of the first Fighter Pass 1 DLC for Super Smash Bros Ultimate was revealed to be Byleth, the protagonist of lasy year’s Fire Emblem: Three Houses
    • The character will be available on Jan. 28
  • New cosmetic DLC was also revealed, including crossovers with Assassin’s Creed, Cuphead, Rabbids, and Megaman
  • It was also announced during the character breakdown from director Masihiro Sakurai, that the second batch of fighter DLC will continue through 2021
    • Six more characters will be released in the game’s Fighters Pass Vol. 2
  • Along with all the Super Smash Bros. news, Nintendo revealed a new DLC campaign for Fire Emblem: Three Houses titled Cindered Shadows
    • The side story will arrive on Feb. 12
  • The first gameplay for The Joker was revealed for Mortal Kombat 11 as part of it’s Kombat Pack DLC roster
    • The iconic DC villain will be available starting on 1/28
  • In continuing the recent trend of delays, CD Project Red announced that the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed to releasing on Sept. 17
  • Along with the delay, it was reported that Cyberpunk 2077‘s mutiplayer mode won’t be available until after 2021 (via Polygon)
  • Overwatch‘s annual Lunar New Year event has, begun, bringing new cosmetics and game modes, and will go through Feb. 6
  • The Nintendo Switch release of Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition will include a new Free Style mode, allowing for main character Dante to switch combat styles on the fly
  • It has been reported that Horizon: Zero Dawn, formerly a PS4 exclusive, will come to PC sometime this year (via Kotaku)
  • Bungie has started its “Guardians for Australia” fundraising campaign in order to raise money “to support both Australiaโ€™s firefighting efforts and the countryโ€™s animal rescue and conservation efforts” (via Bungie)
    • Those who donate can earn both in-game and out of game rewards
  • Developer Camouflaj announced that Marvel’s Iron Man VR has been delayed to May 15
  • After several rumors made the rounds recently, Valve has stated the Left 4 Dead 3 is not currently in development (via IGN)
  • An animated Mortal Kombat movie, titled Mortal Kombat: Scorpion’s Revenge, will release this summer (via Polygon)
  • n movie news, Marvel released a brief new trailer for Black Widow, which hits theaters on May 1
  • The first trailer for Morbius, a Spider-Man villain spinoff movie starring Jared Leto, was released
    • The vampiric anti-hero hits theaters on July 31
  • The first trailer for TNT’s adaptation of Snowpiercer, starring Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Digg was released
    • The series premieres on May 31
  • The first trailer for Guns Akimbo, starring Daniel Radcliffe as an internet troll forced into reality show death match, was released
    • The action-comedy releases on March 5
