Red Dead Online is adding its role system, dubbed “Frontier Pursuits” on Sept. 10
Players will be able to pursue the roles of Bounty Hunter, Collector, or Trader (via Polygon)
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, the newest entry in the Plants vs. Zombies PvP shooter spinoff is now available to play in early access from now through Sept. 30
Nintendo hosted its latest Nintendo Direct presentation, with a slew of announcements of games for Nintendo Switch with highlights including:
Overwatch is heading to Nintendo Switch on Oct. 15
Little Town Hero, a new RPG from Pokémon developer Game Freak, is coming to Switch on Oct. 16
It was also announced that Undertale creator Toby Fox has composed most of the game’s music
New gameplay was shown off for the upcoming Luigi’s Mansion 3, releasing on Oct. 31
Along with the announcement of Banjo-Kazooie becoming available to play for those who purchased the character, Fatal Fury/King of Fighters veteran Terry Bogard was announced as the latest DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
The character will be available in November
It was also announced that DLC characters are in development beyond the five planned for the game’s Fighter’s Pass
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore, a port of the WiiU SMT/Fire Emblem crossover RPG, is coming to Nintendo Switch on Jan 17, 2020
In a surprise announcement, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise, is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2020
Deadly Premonition Origins, a port of the original game, is also now available on Switch
Swery65, the original game’s writer/director, has confirmed his return for the sequel (via Twitter)
DOOM 64, the N64 port of DOOM, is coming to Nintendo Switch on Nov. 22
Nintendo showed a new look at Pokémon Sword and Shield, showing off new gameplay elements and new Pokémon such as ghost -type Polteageist
Super Nintendo games are now available to play for Nintendo Switch Online members, with 20 titles at launch and more to come
A SNES-styled controller will be available for purchase for Nintendo Switch Online members
Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection, a collection/port of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue are coming to Nintendo Switch on Dec. 6
